Delivering the welcome address, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, observed that Philanthropy is a calling hence individuals and organizations involved in this enterprise must see themselves as stewards assigned by God to reach out to the vulnerable in society.

She noted that giving up as a philanthropist is not an option, hence the need to institute such award schemes to mobilize a strong community of stakeholders to help motivate each other. She appealed to corporate Ghana to continue to support such worthy initiatives as it goes a long way to encourage people to venture into philanthropy.

He noted that DADDS seeks to implement modern digital industrial agricultural applications in Africa, while targeting clean jobs and financial prosperity for women and youths, simultaneously achieving food security by producing corn and trading of value-added products while applying climate change activities.

The award, to him, is a profound recognition of this noble initiative, thereby serving as a form of motivation to the brothers and sisters in the diaspora to marshal their forces together to make this dream a reality.
